Rose Bell Rogers, 90, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at Tri-State Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Rose was a long-time resident of Speedwell, Tennessee and a life-time member of Carr’s Chapel Baptist Church in Speedwell, Tennessee.
Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Rogers; her son, Brian Rogers; her parents, Ulysses Moyers and Hassie Kivette Moyers; her brothers, Edmond, Eli, Colvin, Millard, Curtis, Oris Lee, and Thomas Moyers; her sisters, Leotta Moyers, Bonnie Donahue, and Marie Claiborne. She is survived by her son, Randall Rogers; her daughter Judy Coleman (Jim); her granddaughter, Shannon Coleman Egle (Brian); her great-granddaughters, Ava Caroline Egle and Amelia Rose Egle; her sister, Lois Mooneyhan (Denver); and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Tri-State Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Gentiva Hospice, Ted and Dianne Madon, and Rose’s very special niece, Vicky Cosby.
The funeral procession will leave Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel in Harrogate, Tennessee at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 28, 2023. Interment will be in the Carr Cemetery in Speedwell, Tennessee at 3:00 p.m., with Pastor Kelly Reed officiating.
