Michael L. Warren

Michael L. Warren, age 68 of Cumberland Gap, TN was born February 13, 1952 and passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at the Claiborne Medical Center. He was a member of Old Yellow Creek Missionary Baptist Church #2 in Middlesboro. Michael’s profession of faith in Christ was shared by his singing and musical talents of which he touched many lives. He enjoyed good spiritual preaching and singing.  Michael’s gift of music began at an early age and continued throughout his life. When he wasn’t playing music and singing, Michael loved traveling the back roads with his loving wife Colleen.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Ralph and Sylvia Charlene (Holt) Warren, brothers; Clayton Warren and James Warren.

He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years; Colleen Warren, sons; Jesse Warren, Lee Warren and wife Kelsey, several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends Sunday, July 26, 2020 from 6PM until 7PM with a Celebration of Life to follow at 7PM in the Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel with Pastor John Brown officiating. Music will be provided by Lee Warren, Jeff and Sarah Tackett, Jo Anne and Jon Hall and Old Yellow Creek #2 Church Choir.
