Mrs. LouAnna Hatfield, age 84 of Speedwell, TN passed away October 11, 2022. She was born January 1, 1938 to the late Thomas Hueston Jessie and Nettie Drummonds Jessie in Fonde, KY. She was saved at an early age. She loved her family with all her heart and devoted her life to being a wife and homemaker. Lou’s hobbies include gardening and working jigsaw puzzles.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Billy Ray Hatfield; father, Thomas Hueston Jessie; mother, Nettie Drummonds Jessie; brothers, William Jessie and Donald Jessie; sister, Barbara Bramer; sisters-in-law, Rosemary Jessie and Dorothy (Missy) Jessie; brother-in-law, Walter (Bud) Struble.
She is survived by her daughters, Amy Fay Hatfield Sutton and Travis Sutton, Billie Ann Hatfield Evans and husband David; grandchildren, Brock and Chelsea Sutton, Ember and Jarrod Dotson, Bryce and Madison Sutton, Elizabeth and Zach Marcum, Preston and Elisa Evans, Kyle and Alexis Evans; great grandchildren, Jase Dotson, Eira Dotson and Evelyn Marcum; sisters, Clytie Struble, Alice Guy and husband Arnold; brothers, Hueston Jessie and wife Nancy, and Jerry Jessie. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and many other loving relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Saturday, October 15, 2022 from 3:30 PM until 7:00 PM with funeral services to follow at 7:00 PM in the Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel with Rev. Gary Mundy Officiating. Eulogy will be provived by Rev. Lee Guin and music will be provided by Travis Sutton, Larry Cadle, Bill Sowder and Jimmy Barnes. Family and friends will meet at 1:00 PM Sunday, October 16, 2022 at the Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel to go in procession to the Town Creek Cemetery for 2:00 PM graveside service.
