Larry Gerald James

Mr. Larry Gerald James, age 72 of Corbin, KY was born May 8, 1948 in Brunswick, GA and passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at the Tri State Health and Rehab in Harrogate, TN. He was a member Faith Tabernacle Church, Corbin, KY. Larry was a 1967 graduate of Glynn Academy then served our country in the US Navy. He loved restoring sports cars and was an avid CB/Ham Radio Operator.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Bennie and Aline (Culpepper) James of Brunswick, GA.

He is survived by his children; Stacie Michele Shott of Austin, TX and Stephen Wayne James of Lubbock, TX, grandchildren; Anastasia dawn James, Devin Wayne James, James Timothy shott, Lilyana Katharine Olmstead, great grandchildren; Aliciana dae James, Xoe may James, sisters; Mary Ogden of Charleston, SC, Dale Nevitt of Hiram, GA and Patricia Guernsey of Danville, KY. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

At the request of Mr. Larry Gerald James, he was cremated by the Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel at their cremation center in Pineville, KY. Memorial graveside services will be conducted at a later date at the Brunswick Memorial Park in Brunswick, GA.
