Juanita Parilee Duncan

Juanita Parilee Duncan, age 87, of Cumberland Gap, TN passed away Friday, April 24, 2020 at Tri State Health and Rehabilitation in Harrogate, TN. She was born September 14, 1932 in Sharps Chapel, TN, the daughter of the late Esco and Elizabeth “Liza” White.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Jay Duncan, daughter; Wilma Jones, 3 sisters and their husbands; Vinnie (Jack) Dyke, Eleana (Bryant) Duncan, Williw (Roy) Brantley, Evon (Harvey) Wheland, 2 brothers and their wives; Willard (Sharron) White, Delbert (Reva Mae) White, and brothers-in-law; LB Gibson and Martin Gibson.

She is survived by her daughter; Kathy (Rev. Bobby) Partin, son; Larry Duncan, sisters; Theathel Gibbons and Jean Gibbons, granddaughters; Angel (Duff) Daniels, Dawn Duncan, grandsons; Rocky Partin, Zack Jones and Shannon Duncan, 10 great grandchildren and 2 great great granddaughters. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, her church family and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss the one who they Mamaw Duncan.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, private funeral services will be conducted Monday, April 27, 2020 at the Arnett  & Steele Valley Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Cheek officiating. Music will be provided by Calvary Baptist Church Singers. Burial will follow in the McCreary Cemetery.
