Mrs. Esther Helen Littrell Brittain, 87, of the Belleview Community in Villa Rica, GA passed away, Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton, GA.
Esther was born October 8th, 1933 in Ewing, Virginia, the daughter of the late Mr. Charles Littrell and the late Mrs. Hattie Vanbeber Littrell. She retired as a Medical Secretary with Georgia Internal Medicine. She was a member of the Douglasville Church of God of Prophecy, and was a devoted Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. Esther enjoyed spending time in the kitchen cooking, reading and studying the Bible, traveling, and enjoying the family she loved so dearly. Above all, she loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Richard Earl Brittain, who passed away June 4th, 2004, and by her siblings Thelma Connor, Sewell Littrell, Sylvia Pendleton, Evelyn Brooks, and Carolyn Littrell.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy Craft of Villa Rica, GA, Pam (Brian) Free of Winston, GA, and Debbie (Bob) Howard of Villa Rica, GA. 6 grandchildren, Ricky Free, Jennifer (Justin) Chandler, Wesley (Brittney) Craft, Bryce Free, Landon Foster and Garrett Foster. 8 great grandchildren, Wyatt Chandler, Jude Free, Kaleb Chandler, Logan Chandler, Graham Free, Bentley Craft, Jaxon Craft, and Riley Chandler.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 3, 2021 from 2pm until 3pm at Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel in Harrogate, Tennessee with funeral services to follow at 3pm, with Rev. Stuart Fultz officiating. Interment will follow in the Scott Cemetery.
