Argus W. "Bill" Henegar

Argus W. “Bill” Henegar, 64 of Speedwell, Tennessee Passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at the Claiborne Medical Center in Tazewell. He was born in Jellico, Tennessee on March 2, 1958, and was the son of the late Henry Ray Henegar and Reba Ball Henegar Jones. Bill was a believer in the Baptist faith and had been a coal miner.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, David Henegar.

Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Teresa Tinnel Henegar; children, Renee Jones and husband, Jacent, Billy Henegar and Nikki Henegar; grandchildren, Dawson and Gracie Marlow, Landon and Matt Jones, and Lillie, Sara and Gavin Henegar; brothers, Kenneth, Ricky, Lawrence, Jim and Eddie Henegar; sisters, Robin Adkins and Reba Taylor; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Graveside funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 10 at the Ausmus Cemetery in Speedwell with Rev. Steve Elkins and Rev. Lawrence Henegar. Pallbearers will be Ryan Owens, Mark Owens, Ricky Henegar, Greg Henegar, Kenneth “Junebug” Henegar, Jr., Dawson Marlow, Eddie Henegar and Jacent Jones.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 6:00 PM on Friday, December 9 at the Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel in Harrogate, Tennessee, which is honored to be serving the Henegar family.
