Anna J. Hoskins

Anna J. Hoskins, 88 of Cumberland Gap, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at Ridgeview Terrace Life Care in Rutledge, Tennessee. She was born in Williamsburg, Kentucky on August 31, 1934, and was a daughter of the late Acie and Gracie Reece. Anna was a member of the Providence Missionary Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Hoskins, Jr.; her son, Larry Smith; and her siblings, Stan Reece, Don Reece, Christine Faulkner, Norma Hoskins and Emanuel Reece.

Survivors include her daughters, Phyllis Smith, and Donna Cody; grandchildren, Crystal, Amy, Jessie, Phillip, Labrina, Mishelle, Justin and Nikki; great-grandchildren, McKenzie, Erika, Skyler, Luke, Brionna, Jade, Bailey, Elan, Kason, Emma and Skye; great-great-granddaughter, Blakely; brother, Jim Reece; sister, Audrey Bloodworth; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relative and many friends.

Funeral services will be at 3:30 PM on Sunday, January 29 at the Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel with Rev. David Fuson officiating. Music will be by the Providence Missionary Baptist Church Choir. Private burial will be in the Riverview Cemetery in Harrogate.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:30 PM Sunday at the Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel in Harrogate, which is honored to be serving the Hoskins family.
