Penny Mae (Milligan) Lamb

Our precious Mother, Penny Mae Lamb, passed away in the early morning hours of June 22nd, 2019 at LaFollette Medical Center in LaFollette, TN.

Penny was born to Glenia Marlene and Carson T. Milligan, Sr., on March 23rd, 1952.

Our Mother thoroughly enjoyed working puzzles, spending time with her family, sharing her wonderful sense of humor, but mostly reading her Bible.

Penny is preceded in death by her mother, four brothers, one sister, grandparents, and several aunts and uncles.

Penny is survived by her children: Jimmy Lamb II, LaFollette, TN, Sunny (Tony) Simpson, Jacksboro, TN, Sammy Lamb, Lexington, KY, and Jennifer (Justin) Shears, LaFollette, TN.

Four grandchildren: Michael (Jaime) Simpson, Nathanael (MaKayla) Simpson, Isaiah Shears, and Maelynne Shears.

Two great-grandchildren: Salem and Grayson Simpson.

Penny has several loved brothers and sisters, special aunts and uncles who are like siblings, and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.

Penny is also survived by her one true love, Jim Lamb, Cumberland Gap, TN.

A celebration of her life will be held Monday, June 24th, 2019 at Mountainview Chapel at 3:00 PM with burial to follow at Mountainview Cemetery & Memorial Gardens. Pastor Jimmy Branscomb will be officiating service. Rachel Cooper will be providing music.

Pallbearers will be her sons, sons-in-law, and grandsons.
