George Kenneth Tatman Sr. born to Charles George and Ruth Elizabeth Tatman, in Monticello, Indiana on May 17, 1945 one of seven (7) children grew up in the area of Brookston, Indiana. He loved his family immensely and had a love for cars (which he passed on to his son & grandsons) also, became his chosen profession for his entire life. He never met a stranger, always willing to lend a helping hand, a great sense of humor, and a love for NASCAR.
On November 18, 2018, George stepped through Heaven’s gate where he met those that had gone before him. His wife of 20 years Mary Lou (Miller) Tatman; Parents: Charles G. and Ruth E. Tatman; Sisters: Helen Jean and Linda Lue; Sister-N- Laws: Brenda and Linda Tatman
He leaves behind to celebrate his life: Son: George K. Tatman Jr. (Krista) of Tazewell, TN, Daughters: Darlene (Bill Surber) Tatman of New Tazewell, TN; Lynn Keck of Sneedville, TN; Rebecca Lowe (Hank) of New Tazewell, TN and Merrie Mabe (David) of New Tazewell ; Several Stepchildren
Grandchildren: Ashley (Ryan) Kilgore, Patrick Tatman, Mckaela Tatman, Austin Lowe, Breanna Lowe, Brooke Tatman, Wesley Surber, Paris Surber
Brothers: Gene Tatman of Brookston, IN; Carl Tatman of Corpus Christi, TX; Richard Tatman of Flora, IN; Sister: Kathleen Martin (Ralph) of Flora, IN

Family and friends will meet at 12 noon on Wednesday, November 21,2018 at the Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel (Formerly Reece Funeral Home) in Harrogate to go in procession to the Adams Cemetery for 1PM graveside services
