Donald Lee Miracle, 78 of Cumberland Gap. Tennessee passed away on Friday, September 13, 2019 at the Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville. He was born in Middlesboro, KY on June 24, 1941 and was the son of the late Carly and Leona Webb Miracle. Donald had attended church at Gap Creek, Bennett’s Fork and Town Creek churches and loved to sing and record gospel music with his group and his family. He had retired after working for M. Fine Denim Finishers in Middlesboro and had a great love for classic cars.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Linda Gray Miracle; siblings, Ruby, Doyle, Arnold, Della and her twin that passed away in infancy; and a special cousin, James Allen.
Survivors include his children, Donna Cupp and her husband, E.J. and Donnie Miracle and his wife, Connie; grandchildren, Justin Cupp and his wife, Ashley, Tyler Cupp, Tommy Cupp, Josh Miracle and his wife, Christina, Samantha Bates, and Alexis Miracle; great-grandchildren, Madison Money and Emily Money, Mckenzie Miracle, Nolan Miracle, Kyley Bates and Madison Bates; special friends, Charlie Dummitt and Conley Wilburn; and a host of several cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.
Funeral services will be at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, September 18 at the Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel with Rev. Don Bannister. Music will be by Tiwani Grimm and Josh Collins. Graveside interment services will be at 11:00 AM Thursday at the Harrogate Cemetery with music by Tommy Cupp, Alexis Miracle and Wayne Thacker. Pallbearers will be Justin Cupp, Tyler Cupp, Tommy Cupp, Josh Miracle, Wayne Thacker and Josh Marsee. A funeral procession to the cemetery will be leaving the Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel at 10:50 AM Thursday morning.
